A holiday day with us

What a day with an indoor pool feels like

Morning: garden trees reflected in the water

In the morning

The first lengths are yours

The house is still quiet, the garden trees are reflected in the water. A few calm lengths before the day begins – no ticket, no crowds, because the pool is exclusively for our guests. Then breakfast on the south-facing balcony.

On the ridge with views over Carinthia

During the day

Out to the mountains or the lake

The Karawanks are almost on the doorstep, Lake Faak is about 10 km away. Whether a summit tour up the Kosiak or an afternoon at the lido – you come back tired and happy.

Our hiking tips

In the afternoon

Warming up in the sauna and warm cabin

After a hike, warmth does you good. Tired legs relax in the Finnish sauna; if you prefer it gentler, choose the warm cabin. Then a few strokes in the pool – and the day was worth it.

And if it rains

The children's favourite spot

Even the best holiday has the odd grey day. That is when the indoor pool becomes everyone's favourite spot – especially for families. Our family apartments are in their own guest house, just a few steps away.

Weatherproof from Easter to the end of September

Every season has its charm – the indoor pool always fits

With us, your holiday does not depend on the weather. Spring, high summer or September: the warm indoor pool in the house makes every day a good holiday day.

Spring from Easter

The meadows in the valley are in bloom, there is often still snow on the Karawanks summits and the lakes are still chilly. That is exactly when a warm indoor pool in the house is ideal: a swim in the morning, a walk at midday, the sauna in the afternoon – perfect for the Easter holidays and spring bank holidays.

Summer

When it is hot outside, the pool cools you down. And if a thunderstorm rolls over the mountains in the afternoon, your swimming day is still saved.

Late summer in September

The high season is over, the trails are quieter and the views are often especially clear. The lakes slowly cool down – the water in the indoor pool stays warm, and after your hike the sauna is waiting.

Behind the scenes

Warm water from the sun

While you are out in the mountains, our solar collectors are at work. Together with an air-source heat pump they heat the indoor pool – so most of the heat comes from the sun and the surrounding air.

So you can enjoy a warm indoor pool in the middle of the Rosental with a clear conscience and a small ecological footprint.

Mainly with solar collectors and an air-source heat pump – that is, mostly with energy from the sun and the surrounding air.
